Dial-A-Ride is a service for persons with disabilities who are ADA-certified to use paratransit. This section features information about Vallejo Transit's Run About program. The Run About system provides transportation to individuals who are unable to use Vallejo Transit and Benicia Transit public transportation, such as fixed-route transit buses, because of a disability or disabling health condition. Who is eligible to ride Run About?A person with a disability which prevents them from riding regular Vallejo Transit and Benicia Transit buses are eligible to ride Run About. Also, persons already determined to be eligible under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) by another transit agency may ride Run About. What is Run About?Run About provides door-to-door transportation to eligible disabled people of all ages in the Vallejo/Benicia area, as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1991 (ADA).
