General Information

The City of Pleasanton Parks and Services Department provides Paratransit Service for adults age 60+ and those who are ADA qualified.  The service is provided within the city of Pleasanton.  This is a daytime service.  To go beyond Pleasanton or for travel after hours, call (925) 455-7510 or head to the WHEELS Dial-A-Ride page on their website for more information.  See Pleasanton Paratransit's official site at http://www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us/rec_seniors.html for more information.

ADA Eligibility

The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law that guarantees certified individuals with disabilities, full and equal access to the same services and accommodations that are available to people without disabilities.  To use the Pleasanton Paratransit Service, you need to be an adult aged 60+ or ADA qualified.  Preregistration requires minimum three working days prior to first ride.

Reservations

Please call between 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for reservations 2 to 14 days in advance for transportation within Pleasanton to medical appointments, shopping, and recreation or to the Senior Center. For Pleasanton Paratransit (Dial-A-Ride) Reservations, Call (925) 931-5376. Also use this number if you need to cancel your scheduled ride.

Service Hours and Days

Pleasanton Paratransit is operated on the following days and hours:

Monday to Friday: 8:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Saturday: 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
